Event #36 ($3,000 Limit Hold'em): Todd Whittles posted his second strong showing at this year's WSOP by winning Event #36 (he also finished 3rd in Event #4). Todd beat out 406 other rounders for his first bracelet. Other notables include: 2nd: Daryl Mixan - $179,290, 7th: Cyndy Violette - $44,820, 9th: Matt Matros - $22,410, 22nd: Daniel Negreanu - $6,725, and 35th: Jay Heimowitz - $4,480.
Event #37 ($1,000 NLH w/ re-buys): Fifty-four players remain (894 entered, and there was 1584 re-buys) in Event #37. The current chip leader is Rob Hollink (157,500). Other notables include: 3rd: Freddy Deeb - 84,600, 6th: Young Phan - 76,400, 7th: Howard Lederer - 73,500, 11th: Barry Greenstein - 70,200, 17th: Ayaz Mahmood - 55,700, 18th: Devilfish Ulliott - 55,000, 22nd: Bill Gazes - 48,400, 37th: Mike Gracz - 31,600, 53rd: Tony 'TNT' Nasr - 8,500, 54th: Joe Sebok - 5,600.
