"Life Support"
Almost six hours into play, many WSOP million dollar dreams are being dashed. A few big names are teetering on the brink. Multiple 2005 WSOP bracelet winner Mark Seif is under 5k. As Chops passed by to get his chip count, he looked up and said to him, “Life support, guy.” Nearby, Arnold Spee gave a sheepish, “Not going so well” gesture, as he sits with 8k.
Doyle Brunson is also clinging on, fluctuating between 5-7k for nearly three hours.
T.J. Cloutier is doing even worse. He’s out, as his pocket Kings got busted by a straight.
Some big names though are building big stacks. Howard Lederer is around 18k. Huck Seed has over 20k. Phil Ivey, wearing an iPod and eating Harvest bars, has close to 30k.
