Finally, The Field Comes Together...But First, A Day of Rest...and Reflection

Day 2B wrapped last night, marking the end of split fields. All remaining 1,159 runners will return to the Rio on Friday at noon to continue play.

Leading them all is Day 2B chip leader Dmitri Nobles (at right), stacked at 553,000. Here's what we know about Nobles:

Among the Day 2B chip leaders is Daniel Negreanu, who put on a clinic at the featured table after being able to rest his mind upon discovering the origin of the Wicked Chops Poker name, raising his chip tally to 331,000. Other notable big stacks include: Alex Balandin - 237,000, Jeff Cabanillas - 210,000, Shannon Shorr - 190,000, Joe Hachem - 142,200, Ted Forrest - 125,000, Dan Schmiech - 95,000, Peter Feldman - 93,200, Darrell Dicken - 89,000, Stuart Paterson - 89,000, Cyndy Violette - 85,000, Josh Arieh - 82,000, Tom McEvoy - 60,000, Freddy Deeb - 58,000, Kathy Liebert - 55,000, Joanna Krupa - 27,000, and in perhaps the greatest comeback ever given that he's dead, Benny Binion - 19,000.

Also, 4SP'er Vaughn Sandman outlasted tablemates Aaron Kanter and Harbolus Valkureoiaglkausfoughous to end the day with an impressive stack of 163k.

Reflecting back on the past six days, what clearly stands out is that it was a week filled with fast action, bad beats, suck outs and lucky draws.

Just checked in with TBS, and they said it was still funny.
