Day 2B wrapped last night, marking the end of split fields. All remaining 1,159 runners will return to the Rio on Friday at noon to continue play.
Leading them all is Day 2B chip leader Dmitri Nobles (at right), stacked at 553,000. Here's what we know about Nobles:
Among the Day 2B chip leaders is Daniel Negreanu, who put on a clinic at the featured table after being able to rest his mind upon discovering the origin of the Wicked Chops Poker name, raising his chip tally to 331,000. Reflecting back on the past six days, what clearly stands out is that it was a week filled with fast action, bad beats, suck outs and lucky draws.
