DoylesRoom.com Donezo in U.S.
"[DoylesRoom.com] will no longer be accepting US customers from hereon in," a rep from the poker site told Gambling911.com just now, after a bit of confusion today that had folks over at 2+2 chatting it up like high school cheerleaders at a slumber party, if middle aged online poker players obsessively posting on a message board was anything like that.
The news comes on the heels of Tribeca Tables poker network, which hosted DoylesRoom.com, announcing last week that it would no longer be allowing new U.S. customers to play at its poker sites and that all U.S. IPs would be banned effective February 28.
DoylesRoom.com is still trying to get its own network developed to replace Tribeca Tables, but even when it's up it won't take U.S. players.
"[T]he egaming bill is just too 'hot'," a 2+2 poster apparently was told by customer service at DoylesRoom.com.

DoylesRoom.com to No Longer Allow Americans to Play Poker Online
SAN JOSE, Costa Rica--(BUSINESS WIRE)--DoylesRoom.com, one of the most popular poker sites on the internet, today announced that it will close its US-facing operations.
The recently passed Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act (UIGEA) and closures by payment processors were cited as the reasons for the surprise move. With immediate effect, US online poker players will not be permitted to sign up for real money play or deposit funds into existing accounts. DoylesRoom.com will not permit US-based play commencing March 1, 2007.
DoylesRoom.com will continue serving non-US players and will increase its focus on Canada, Europe and Asia-Pacific.
Commenting today, a spokesperson said: “In view of the passage of the UIGEA and the cessation of operations by Neteller and other payment processors, the management of DoylesRoom.com has reluctantly decided not to permit online real money play by US-based players at DoylesRoom.com.”
Doyle’s Room (www.DoylesRoom.com) is the only online poker site endorsed by poker legend, Doyle Brunson. The site is an international hub for Texas Hold ’em and other popular poker games. Players at DoylesRoom.com can play for free to learn the game, or engage in real game play against players throughout the World.
Apparently, they will be allowing players to transfer funds to Full Tilt.
