Tony G. From the Street, Accuses Card Player of Stealing
There's been a lot of talk around the 2007 WSOP the past few days of Card Player directly stealing PokerNews.com's chip counts. Card Player, you see, is run by the egomaniacal Shulman bros, who, like many a scorned lover we left in our wake back in the day, have gone all "crazy bitch" on WSOP officials and their new media partner, BLUFF, in a well-talked about behind-the-scenes pissing contest.
Now majority shareholder in Poker News, Tony G., has just come out and said what everyone "knows" around the WSOP: Card Player is stealing. This is ironic, kind of like that song from Alanis Morissette, except that most of what Morissette pointed out wasn't so much "ironic" as it just "sucked," because Card Player recently accused BLUFF of doing the same damn thing.
So Tony G. has had enough, officially calling Card Player out for stealing. Repeatedly. Along with emphasizing that he's from the street. Repeatedly.
You know, if he's so "from the street," we suggest that he changes his name to Tony O.G. He'd be like the Eazy-E of poker, minus the AIDS and stuff.
Read his blog about it here, and 2+2 posts here and here.
Read the great work by Card Player last year from their excellent Like You Were There Moments (TM) like this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, and this.

Nice reporting. Some of the other affiliates at PAW posted Tony's blog post on Digg. If this hits the homepage there, Mr. Shulman is going to have a world of problems.
