:: Event #38 ($2,000 Pot Limit Hold'em) - Apparently the singular version of "David Kita," Davidi Kitai, brings home his first bracelet by defeating poker pro Chris Bell heads-up for the title. Davidi banks $244,583 for the win. Get full payouts here.
:: Event #39 ($1,500 No Limit Hold'em) - The final nine come back at 2pm PST to play for the $631,656 first prize. 2005 WSOP bracelet winner and overly-consonanted Thom Werthmann has the chip lead. Get full chip counts here.
:: Event #40 ($2,500 2-7 Limit) - Shun Uchida looks to make his third cash at the 2008 WSOP as he takes the chip lead to Day 2 of Event #40. Uchida is stacked at 79,200. Other big name big stacks include Greg Raymer (64,600) and Robert Mizrachi (54,200). Only 30 remain and first pays out $151,896. Get full chip counts here.
