Alex Outhred Smarter Than a Fifth Grader and About 6,800 in the WSOP Main Event

Believe it or not, Alex Outhred ended Day 2B as the big stack.

With Day 2B at a close, Alex Outhred, winner of Are You Smarter than a 5th Grader, proves he can outwit a bunch of dead money at the WSOP too, ending play as chip leader.

Outhred, stacked at 486,800, heads an impressive field of pros. Big name big stacks include Nenad Medic (294,000), "Cliff" Johnny Bax "Josephy" (230,000), Carmel Petresco, a woman (224,000), Phil Hellmuth (200,000), Jean-Robert Bellande (video blog below, 190,000), Jeff Madsen (158,000), Evelyn Ng, a woman (156,00), Shawn Sheikhan (151,000), and Phil Gordon (140,000).

There's a friend of Up For Poker (FOUFP) who's stacked at 88K going into Day 3 named Jena Delk, a woman, who I think would make for a nice mention on this standard-bearing poker blog for women poker players everywhere!

I can't think of many players who would be a better representative for poker than Alex Outhred. He's a great guy, and I'm really rooting for him to reach the final nine.
