He might not be playing tournament poker that much. He might be playing cash games at $200/$400 (sometimes going as low as a paltry $75/$150).
I think that because he says he doesn't like tournament poker. But some think no limit holdem tournaments is all that there is. I bet he made a bit more than $75K at poker.
