Kentucky Can't Seize Internet Gaming Site Domains
People everywhere in Kentucky were celebrating today's joyous news.
In what will hopefully be the last time we have to write about this asinine story, a judge in Kentucky today ruled that the state cannout seize web, or as we like to call it, "Information SuperhighwayTM" domains associated with Internet gaming, including poker.
An attorney representing the Interactive Gaming Council said:
“The Court of Appeals has now corrected a fundamental misunderstanding by the trial judge in this proceeding of the nature of the Internet and the legality of online poker in Kentucky.”
And while we have no idea what the fuck that meant, we do know the larger ramifications of this development is that you can still play in our Reader Appreciation Freeroll Thursday.
