Ok, maybe the search to find Las Vegas' hottest girl isn't nearly over yet, but the new RawVegas.tv Girl of the Month is a freaking hottie. Meet Brittani Cal-Williamson, a single model who likes to go off-roading, camping, and looks like the kind of girl you could even bring home to meet the parents. Just like Francine Dee. Just kidding.

Anyway, Brittani is our current "chip leader" to win the RawVegas.tv Girl of the Year, which we're not even sure they're doing but they should. More pics below of Brittani.

NBC National Heads Up Poker Championship Red Carpet Photo Dump

All right, let's wrap this all up with some pictures (below) closing thoughts on the NBC National Heads Up Poker Championship red carpet/draw party last night.

First, job well done to Jon Miller of NBC for growing this event to what it is. This was easily the biggest red carpet crowd with the most excitement around it we've seen in the three years we've been covering it. Plus adding GoDaddy.com as a sponsor brings yet another big name mainstream advertiser into the fold (which = good for the game).

Now some random notes: Not sure if it was because he saw Phil Hellmuth talking to the RawVegas.tv crew or not, but Layne Flack couldn't have exited stage left into the party (and by-passed the video crews) any faster than if his ass was literally on fire and the only bucket of water within a three mile radius was in PURE Nightclub itself. / Congratulations again to Vanessa Rousso for landing a spot in that GoDaddy.com commercial with Danica Patrick. Also congrats on rocking a skin tight outfit that revealed a remarkably clear, um, something that rhymes with "mammal doe." / Speaking of Danica Patrick, while not super-model pretty, in person she's definitely better-looking than you'd think. Kind of "take-home-to-mom" pretty. / Jamie Gold had no problem immediately admitting he screwed up on getting a fake tan. / And while Annie Duke kind of makes sense on why she's not switching to FTP, we're still standing by our steak dinner offer.

We don't celebrate our personal birthdays anymore. Partly because we don't care, and partly because we don't care.

However we know shit like that matters to other people, so happy birthday  (if that's what you'd call it) to RawVegas.tv, which launched two years ago yesterday.

A month after Zak Penn's The Grand stormed the box office by banking just enough to buy-in to the WPT Championship, the poker movie Deal, which stars waxy-looking golden ager Burt Reynolds and features Dancing with the Stars' Shannon Elizabeth (at right) playing a Las Vegas hooker, hits movie screens tonight in select cities, and already critics are rushing to give it praise.

Apparently many poker pros decided to show up to the  2^nd Annual Jennifer Harman SPCA Charity Poker Tournament in Las Vegas because of the threat of bodily harm. From Jennifer Harman.

Both Phil Ivey and Barry Greenstein alluded to the not-so-thinly veiled threats by Harman as their primary reason for attending the event. However, the prospects of bodily harm turned out to be a good thing for Ivey, as he adopted a sweet little kitty!!!*

RawVegas.tv stopped by Evelyn Ng's condo in Las Vegas the other day to shoot her and Lacey Jones rocking it out Guitar Hero III, except replace "Lacey Jones" with Jeff Madsen and that's what you'll see in the video below. You'll also see Jeff Madsen, who looks like a prairie dog to us, pulling a Miss Teen South Carolina (jokingly) when he rambles off continents like Asia, Africa and Europe and calls them cities. Throughout the video, Madsen is for some reason smoking a cigarette in what can best be described as an awkward manner. Seriously, we know 7 year olds who look cooler smoking cigarettes. As reported all over the place the past couple weeks (we'll cite this one here), Daniel Negreanu will be playing poker against Hugh Jackman, aka Wolverine, in the upcoming movie X-Men Origins: Wolverine.

Expected on the red carpet are many of the big name celebs playing in this year's event, including Jason Alexander, Don Cheadle, and last year's top 4 finisher, Dancing with the Stars' Shannon Elizabeth.

WPT LA Poker Classic: Vinnie Vinh Still Alive, Glum Girl is Here, Benyamine Looking Slim(mer), Negreanu Backing Barack

So we made it to the Commerce today after a night of relatively moderate bedlam that kicked off at the Library Alehouse in Santa Monica and somehow ended up with us at a Laurel Canyon mansion this morning with a group of Venice Beach trust fund hippies who graffiti'd are SUV rental with Obama stickers.

We'll save that story however for our forthcoming 4-part series entitled "How We Spent the Friday Night Before the WPT LA Poker Classic."

David Williams Not Doing Well on Day 2's

Michael "The Grinder" Mizrachi Considering New Career in MMA Fighting

For this week's Toke with Wicked Chops Poker on RawVegas.tv, Dave Farra catches up with Michael "The Grinder" Mizrachi and David Williams at the first-ever Bodog Fights held in Las Vegas, which saw Nick "The Goat" Thompson submit John Troyer for the win and two chicks beating the crap out of each other.

Williams talks about placing bets on MMA fights, including a $10,000 wager he won off Patrick Antonius at the UFC fight between Georges St. Pierre and Matt Hughes. The Grinder meanwhile gets all profound about the differences between MMA and poker when he says, "In poker it's mental training, here it is physical training. So it's a lot different."

We're gonna ask him to dumb this down for us the next time we see him but we'll take his word for it.

Oh yeh, about the headline above. Not really true. But it got your attention right?

Breaking: Monte Carlo in Las Vegas Is On Fire

From RawVegas.tv:

The roof, the roof, the roof at the Monte Carlo is on fire. Or at least the top four floors.

A massive blaze is burning at the Monte Carlo casino right now. We have a clear view from the RawVegas.tv office, where we see black fumes engulfing the Vegas skyline.

Speculation among a few placed calls is the fire resulted from a construction accident. We are waiting for confirmation on that.

The Monte Carlo is now evacuating the 3,000+ room hotel and casino.

UPDATE: They are now evacuating the Bellagio and other casinos on the Strip.

UPDATE: RawVegas.tv is reporting that the fire appears to be under control now. "No more plumes of smoke can be seen from our office or by the bridge where we are filming." They also have a video of the Monte Carlo fire, which from the angle and distance it was shot, kind of looks cozy.

David Williams A Fan of Borgata...Not So Much of Tunica Though

Gotta hand it to David Williams. Dude calls it like he sees it.

In his latest vlog on RawVegas.tv, David Williams goes over his early poker schedule (yah on Borgata, Tunica, nay on the Aussie Millions). While admitting that the one shining gem in the shithole that is Atlantic City--The Borgata--is "one of my favorite places on the east coast," DW isn't so fond of Tunica, which he calls, "a boring place in the middle of nowhere." True. True.

DW also goes on about another favorite spot, Commerce Casino, and a session where he banked about $90k in 40 hours. Watch the full clip below.

Poker pro David Williams is back doing his video blogs on RawVegas.tv, and for the first one of 2008 he talks about how he spent New Year's Eve in Las Vegas, including partying alongside Leonardo DiCaprio and the Hilton sisters and spending a shit-ton of money with Joe Cassidy, David Oppenheim, Matt "Hazards21" Giannetti and Jean-Robert Bellande, that kind of obnoxious poker player with the French sounding name who was on "Survivor: China."

The WSOP bracelet winner also talks about his New Year's resolution and the correlation between something called "working out" and playing good poker, something that may help explain the year David Benyamine had in 2007.

The Ten Most Wicked Stories of 2007 - Part I

Recovering from a major post-Holiday binger, we're a little late getting to our semi-annual "Biggest Stories of the Year" post. We're taking a slightly different approach this year, and every subsequent every-other-year from here on out, as the stories won't necessarily be the "biggest" of the year as they will be the most "wicked." Or put another way, these are the stories that we liked the most, and from feedback from readers, link throughs, and overall traffic, others seemed to have liked the most. Very scientific.

We'll post the results two-at-a-time because it reminds us of how many girls we used to have sex with each night when we were single.

And for the record, some stories just missing the top 10 include Jamie Gold and Crispin "Don't Call Me Bruce" Leyser settling their lawsuit, the Brandi Hawbaker/David Sklansky relationship, Barney Frank introducing repeal of the UIGEA legislation (and other efforts to overturn the Act), David "The Dragon" Pham* winning Card Player's POY, and Annette Obrestad, a woman, winning the WSOPE Main Event.

10) Pamela Anderson Bangs, Marries Dude to Pay Off Poker Debt, Then Divorces Him. What would any Wicked Chops list be without a hot chick with big boobs? While Pam isn't our favorite poker playing cougar, she's certainly up there. Pam, who has been into poker for awhile, reportedly rang up a $250k poker debt while in Vegas co-headlining a magic act with Hans Klok. To pay it off, she did what any smart girl would do, she banged a dude. We had to dock Pam some points for having to resort to scumbag Rick Solomon to pay off said debt, but she gets a few extra points back for (possibly) mucking Solomon soon thereafter. 9) Phil Hellmuth Crashes His Car, Face, Body, Ego Remain Unscathed. After winning his record-setting 11th bracelet at the 2007 WSOP, Phil Hellmuth crashed his race car into a barrier while filming a promotional bit for Ultimate Bet. The crash made headlines not only in the usual suspects of poker forums, but was even discussed on msnbc.com, ESPN News, totalfark, and other pop culture sites. Naturally, some thought it was a publicity stunt which, for the record, we know it was not, but can certainly see why it was viewed that way. This past Tuesday night, Phil Hellmuth threw a big birthday/holiday party in a Palms fantasy suite. If we were retarded, we'd say it looked "off the chain" or "off the hook" or "was the bomb." The dude with that thing on his chin from Anthrax played, and apparently, plenty of booze was available.

Having some fun at the party included party tour guide Gavin Smith, recent Five-Diamond $5k runner-up finisher Sully Erna, Roland de Wolfe, and Jamie Gold (who provides one of the night's best lines about 3:45 in). Watch below or here.

Daniel Negreanu Playing Lots of Online Poker, Remembers Chip Reese

In his latest vlog, Daniel Negreanu takes a break from filming his poker virtual training project to talk about the amount of online poker he's been playing lately (lots) and the passing of Chip Reese. Chip's funeral was last Friday, and aside from being one of the best poker players of all-time, Daniel said he really remembers Chip as being an "awesome father." Watch below.

Wayne Allyn Root Can Talk For 5 Minutes Without Taking a Breath, Wants Your Vote

We wouldn't vote for Wayne Allyn Root. Because we don't vote. Unless they figure out a way to bring Ronald Reagan back from the dead and have the Gipper go for a third term, you won't find us near a "pole" that doesn't have a stripper in front of it.  Unless Hillary of course gets the Democratic nod, in which case we'd feel it was our civic duty to keep the apocalypse from happening. 

Anyway, famed sports handicapper Wayne Allyn Root has officially registered with the Federal Elections Committee and will run for President of the U.S. America as a Libertarian. In the latest TOKE vid, he talks about the UIGEA and what he thinks of Greg Raymer running as his VEEP, something the Fossilman has expressed interest in doing.

Without taking a breath, Root says:

"Maybe we'll see...Greg is a great guy great speaker very intelligent a lot of wisdom and I think when you meet Greg and you meet me you go those aren't gamblers those are professional kind of guys."

Shawn Sheikhan Is Still Around

It's been almost three months since Shawn Sheikhan was arrested and faced deportation to Iran due to a new Homeland Security law that looks to oust convicted foreign national sex criminals.

Since then, the Sheik has done something he's not accustomed to do...go silent. On the advice of his lawyers, Sheikhan is not discussing the case with anyone.

And now it appears that Sheikhan will not be able to talk about the case for awhile, as proceedings are stalled. Launch Poker has learned:

In 1995 Sheikhan was arrested and charged with misdemeanor sexual battery charges, but thanks to the Contra Costa County practice of not keeping misdemeanor files for more than ten years, a U.S. Immigration Court Judge could not tell if he was actually convicted of the crime. As such the deportation proceedings have been halted.

While Sheikhan could lose everything if deported, at least he doesn't have to worry about losing a lot on the golf course, mostly because he doesn't wager much. High Stakes Golf wrapped last week, with Sheikhan losing "peanuts," as he was never willing pony up the same amounts as Erick Lindgren, Gavin Smith (who had a bad last hole), and Daniel Negreanu. While we wait for Dan Druff's response to Mark Seif's vid on RawVegas.tv later this morning, now is a good time for 2007 November Playboy model Denise Pernula to remind what Halloween is all about. If there's one thing we've learned from this whole Justin Smith Saga, it's never loan Justin Smith money that you can be sued for blasphemy tooken is a new word we should all use never take money from Micon and not pay him back.

Actually, unstrike the "never loan Justin Smith money" one. That one still holds.

Micon continues his warpath with his latest recorded phone call, this time urging Smith to tell his tale on RawVegas.tv.

We contacted RawVegas.tv (it wasn't difficult) to see when the Smith interview would take place. Said our well-placed source: "We called the guy, but [Smith] refused to go on camera to tell his side. Guess we'll save our resources to film more hot girls giving each other lap dances or partying in bikinis on Lake Mead and shit. Oh well."

Is the "Saga" coming to an end? Just like that song from Asia, only time will tell...

While the Absolute Poker insider cheating scandal has been the biggest story to ever hit 2+2, with endless threads active day and night and no end in sight, over at NeverwinPoker.com it's been the story of Bryan Micon getting rolled for 12 dimes by a guy named Justin Smith that has had the forum degenerates chatting ad nauseam.

For the latest webisode of "The Toke with Wicked Chops Poker", Micon stopped by the RawVegas.tv studio in Las Vegas to talk on camera about how Smith, a purported resident of Beverly Hills, purported celebrity schmoozer and purported heir to the Chase fortune, rolled him for $12k and others, including oil heir fattie Jason Davis, for much more. For those who have been missing out on the fun over at NWP, the video is the Reader's Digest version on how Micon has turned the "fuck you machine" on to try to get his money back. For those who already know the story, it's a video of Micon. Hilarity ensues, whether you're laughing with him or at him.

Archie Karas Lost A Lot of Money

Among Vegas gambling lore, there's no greater figure than Archie Karas.

Jack Binion once said he never met anyone with more gamble in him than Archie Karas. And he should know. During a span from around 1993-95, Karas reportedly went up as much as $22-45 million at Binion's playing craps and poker. Karas won millions off Chip Reese...and blown millions back rolling dice.

This Video Could Have Been Hotter

We're not gonna lie. The below video of Denise Pernula at the International Lingerie Show is more talk than show, which is kind of disappointing considering it's a video of Denise Pernula at the International Lingerie Show. We're sharing it anyway though because it has its moments, like when Denise (who btw will be featured in the November issue of Playboy magazine) dresses up in a Queen of Hearts lingerie get-up or when UFC octagon girl Amber Nichole, who you may recognize as the model Denise gave a lap dance to as well as the chick sticking her tongue out at Jenny Woo in this post, makes a brief appearance.

Strangely, Marisa is wearing a one-piece bathing suit most of the time. Not sure why. Is their a bikini shortage we didn't know about? Did we lose a war or something? Couldn't someone have just given her an iPod to wear? Regardless, Marisa does pull off the one-piece like a frickin' champ.

After a month layoff, poker pro Daniel Negreanu is back with a new vlog on RawVegas.tv. Over the course of 11 minutes, Daniel gives his take on his upcoming European Poker Tour event, man boobs on nude beaches, how well Annette Obrestad, a woman, played at the WSOPE Main Event, a key hand he had with Gus Hansen on Poker After Dark, and the start of the NHL season.

WPT Legends of Poker Update Denise Pernula Lap Dance Video

Day Two of the WPT Legends of Poker at the Bike is underway and last we checked Dutch Boyd was the chip leader with $309,000 and Pokerati pal and 2007 WSOP POY Tom Schneider was sitting in second with $242,000.

In other Legends of Poker news, except not related to the Legends of Poker at all, we discovered today that we're not the only people Denise Pernula lap dances for during casual daytime conversations. Nope. Apparently Sin City's most watched online personality also does the chat and grind on hot chicks like current 944 cover girl Amber Nichole, a model with two first names. The video's fun to watch although we have to admit that seeing Denise do her thing with Amber caught us by surprise. Godsmack's Sully Erna Looking for a Poker Endorsement

And why not? Our favorite poker playing rocker from Boston has gone deep twice in the WSOP Main Event, made a solid run at a Foxwoods tournament, takes poker more seriously these days than touring and we assume his band Godsmack is huge in Scandinavia.
